  • Since 2017 Italian UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy

Langhe and Roero

Alba, together with the Langhe and Roero territories, preserves and passes a creative flair applied to a simple, tasty, home-style cuisine. A union based on excellent raw materials that the culinary art knows how to enhance, reinvent and propose in the purity of tradition or with a touch of modernity, in the “places of taste” – from the osteria to the three-starred restaurant – dotted around the refined historic centre, the natural shopping centres, the pleasant hillside villages dominated by imposing castles and immersed in breathtaking landscapes.

The Alba White Truffle, the great red wines Barolo Docg, Barbaresco Docg and Roero Docg, the Langhe IGP Piedmont Hazelnut, Murazzano Dop, Raschera Dop, Bra Duro Dop, Robiola d’Alba Pat cheeses, represent the most iconic outpost of a wider world of food and wine, underlying the Unesco landscapes, expression of a unique history, handed down through generations, in the name of quality.
